A solution for the Israel-Palestine question

For years now the Palestinians and Israel are fighting each other for land, religion, trade rights, you name it. Many world leaders have tried to bring the two nations together, without much success. I say the solution is rather easy and could bring peace in the region once and for all.

As I understand the Palestinians won’t recognize the Jewish State of Israel and visa versa. Next to that, Israel has claimed (or sieged) a lot of Palestinian land in the years it controlled the Palestine state. By building settlements in the newly sieged land Israel hopes to have the right to keep the land.
The terrorist group Hamas is fighting the Israelites by bombing innocent targets. As the method of their resistant isn’t the right answer to this conflict, I can see why they would do such a horrible thing; it is like David fighting Goliath, fighting the honest way is just not an option for these people.

To once and for all solve this question both sides have to give in a lot of their demands…

The first thing they should do, after a ceasefire of course, is to recognize each others State. This way both sides would agree that they are negotiating as equals on the matter. This big step towards a common peace would pave way for the next agreements.

Both sides should then agree to a three State solution, where Gaza and The westbank would become two separate states next to the state of Israel.

The land-taking question would be bestly solved by giving half of the sieged land since 19?? back to the Palestinians. By doing this it could be so that some Israelites and Palestinians would end up on the wrong side of the border, but with every international country, none is completely made up of one ethnic group. Only by living together and using the same land to farm on can two men get along.

After agreeing on these issues, Israel should end there trade embargo on Gaza, so that goods and medicine can flow into the newly formed state of Gaza.

At this point Israel would probably say that the trade embargo can not be lifted because Hamas will smuggle weapons into the country when the embargo is lifted. Here the international community would step in for the first time, providing a security force to oversee the rebuilding of the country and fighting crime and corruption.

The biggest undertaking would be getting the funds to rebuild the new states of Gaza and the Westbank. This would be in the hands of the international community as well. Foreign governments and Aid agencies would move into the countries to provide the people with basic necessities.

Opening a stroke of see by the Israelites to international waters would give Gaza their own gateway to the world as well as economic opportunities.

The last thing what should be done is building a memorial to never forget the past. Standing several stories high this monument would look like two nations coming together, to stop the war and start the ever lasting peace. A good place to build this memorial would be on the border between Israel and Gaza or in the city of Jerusalem.

As I remember correctly the dividing of Jerusalem would become a problem, because of the holy buildings which can be found in the city. A good solution would be a holy place, something like the Vatican in Italy, where a building would be build where both Muslims as Jews can pray.

So, as I see it both sites should give something up for receiving peace.

Who was it who said that creating peace is never easy…?
