Economy: Can we look up again?
A year ago the world economy was failing hugely. The recession could be compared with the great recession in the beginning of the 20th century. As a stimulus the big economies of the world have pumped billions of dollars in the economies of the world.
Today we can see the global economy slowly leveling out. But I think we are not there yet. A lot of economies and companies are beaten up by the recession. Many people lost their jobs and companies aren’t eager to hire new employees yet. A lot of companies are waiting for more cash in the bank to reduce new risks. Until people get new jobs and are willing to spend money, we are still in a recession.
It will take a while before we can definitely say that the recession is completely over and we can look up again. Until than, keep on working and try to save some money now and then.
