Using LinkedIn to find a job
Recently, I joined the LinkedIn community. After finishing an education at the University of The Hague, and specializing myself in marketing & communication, I had to figure out what to do next. To increase my changes in the world of business I figured that you have to get noticed, here, there and everywhere.
The easiest way to get noticed is to join communities on the internet. As my target group would be companies and headhunters (people who look for employees) the best platform to begin is LinkedIn.
As consumers like to get a good image of a product, companies would like to know what they are getting as well. So fill in your entire profile, including a decent picture of your self, find friends and colleagues on LinkedIn and write down your résumé.
As I was not looking for a fulltime job at the moment, I started to receive mail with job appliances. So far I haven’t got that dream job I am looking for. However, if you need a job quick, signing up for LinkedIn may help you out.

Also nice to know is that a lot of affiliate companies search social networks, like Linkedin, for potential clients. So for webmasters it is also an good way to look for income.
No job so far. but thx for the idea!
Building up a social network takes time, while you wait you should fill in your profile a bit more, give some references about what you did in the past. It are all the little things that help.
