For many years now people have reported sightings of UFOs all around the world. However, many reports don’t make it to the big public and end up in a government official’s drawer. But would governments hide this information because they think it’s the best thing to do?

If the UFOs which are seen are from alien origin governments may want to avoid a global panic because people tend to fear the unknown. Also the event of publically telling the world there is more out there would be a major milestone in history, changing possibly everything we know.

Next thing I could imagine is that governments would like to keep secret projects secret. And sightings of unknown military airplanes would be dismissed as it was an UFO or just a weather balloons.

Last thing what would be a logical conclusion of a government cover up is getting alien technology for government purposes.

To conclude, I think UFOs are mainly made up because people can’t distinguish satellites with an airplane or alien spaceship. Also a lot of reports would be pranks… So, until aliens will come to me and we shake hands, I’ll be weary of these stories.
